Neuropathology & Imaging Correlation Workshop

Neuropathology and neuroimaging correlation for accurate CNS diagnosis.

Training Overview

Neuropathology & Imaging Correlation Workshop is a comprehensive educational program designed to enhance the diagnostic accuracy, interpretative skills, and interdisciplinary understanding of healthcare professionals involved in neuropathology, neuroradiology, and clinical neuroscience. This two-day program focuses on the systematic correlation between neuropathological findings and neuroimaging data to support precise diagnosis and clinical decision-making.

The course begins with core sessions on central nervous system (CNS) anatomy, neuropathological disease classifications, and the fundamentals of neuroimaging modalities including MRI, CT, and advanced imaging techniques. Participants gain a structured understanding of how imaging findings reflect underlying pathological processes.

Through expert-led lectures and case-based discussions, participants analyze real clinical cases involving tumors, inflammatory conditions, degenerative diseases, vascular pathologies, and infectious disorders of the nervous system. Emphasis is placed on correlating histopathological features with radiological patterns to improve diagnostic confidence and reporting accuracy.

Dedicated sessions address diagnostic workflows, differential diagnosis strategies, clinicopathological conferences, and effective communication between pathologists, radiologists, and clinicians. The program also highlights common diagnostic pitfalls, limitations of imaging and pathology correlation, and strategies for improving multidisciplinary collaboration.

By the end of the program, participants will have strengthened their ability to integrate neuropathological and imaging data to support accurate diagnosis, prognosis, and patient management in clinical practice.
