Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Fellowship program is a specialized opportunity designed for physicians seeking to enhance their expertise in the diagnosis and management of neuromusculoskeletal disorders through osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine techniques. This fellowship offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines clinical rotations, didactic lectures, and research opportunities to provide fellows with a deep understanding of the latest advances in this field.

During the fellowship, fellows will work closely with experienced physicians specializing in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and OMM to develop their skills in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. They will learn how to perform osteopathic manipulative treatments (OMT) tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating a holistic approach that considers the interplay between musculoskeletal, neurological, and visceral systems.

Fellows will also gain expertise in managing complex cases, including those involving chronic pain, sports injuries, spine disorders, and other musculoskeletal ailments. They will learn how to develop comprehensive treatment plans that integrate OMM with other therapeutic modalities, such as physical therapy, pharmacotherapy, and lifestyle modifications, to optimize patient outcomes.

Additionally, fellows will have the opportunity to engage in research projects that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and OMM. They will learn how to critically evaluate scientific literature, design research studies, and disseminate findings through scholarly publications and presentations.

Upon completion of the Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and OMM Fellowship program, physicians will be well-equipped to pursue a career as specialists in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. They will have the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that addresses the unique needs of each patient, and to contribute to the advancement of this field through research and education.
