Neurocritical Care
Sepsis & Multi-Organ Failure Scenario-Based Training
A two-day simulation-based program focused on mastering sepsis recognition and multi-organ failure management. Ideal for clinicians seeking rapid, hands-on ICU decision-making skills.

Training Overview
Sepsis & Multi-Organ Failure Scenario-Based Training is a comprehensive, simulation-based program designed for intensivists, emergency physicians, internal medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, critical care physicians, ICU nurses, and trainees seeking mastery in the rapid recognition and management of sepsis, septic shock, and multi-organ failure. This two-day course integrates structured theoretical instruction with immersive, high-fidelity ICU simulations, emphasizing evidence-based sepsis care, hemodynamic optimization, organ support strategies, and multidisciplinary team coordination in time-sensitive critical scenarios.
The program begins with foundational sessions on sepsis pathophysiology, host response mechanisms, shock classification, microcirculatory dysfunction, organ failure pathways, and early identification of clinical deterioration. Participants explore essential principles including hemodynamic monitoring, lactate-guided resuscitation, antimicrobial stewardship, vasopressor initiation, fluid management strategies, and targeted interventions for pulmonary, renal, hepatic, and cardiovascular dysfunction.
Hands-on simulation modules allow participants to manage complete sepsis and multi-organ failure scenarios using high-fidelity ICU simulators. Under expert supervision, attendees practice rapid sepsis recognition, septic shock stabilization, vasopressor titration, mechanical ventilation for septic patients, advanced hemodynamic assessment, CRRT initiation pathways, and stepwise management of complex multi-organ dysfunction with real-time physiologic feedback.
Through interactive video reviews, case-based discussions, and faculty-led debriefings, participants analyze real-world sepsis cases and refine high-stakes decision-making for triage, escalation of care, complication mitigation, and adherence to evidence-based sepsis bundles. Structured feedback enhances clinical reasoning, interdisciplinary communication, and precision in high-acuity critical care settings.
By the end of the program, participants will have developed advanced diagnostic skills, rapid clinical response capability, and the critical care judgment necessary to confidently manage septic and multi-organ failure patients across diverse ICU environments.
