Principles of Fracture Fixation & Reduction
Core principles of fracture reduction and fixation in orthopedic practice.

Training Overview
Principles of Fracture Fixation & Reduction is a comprehensive educational program designed to strengthen the theoretical knowledge, clinical understanding, and procedural decision-making abilities of healthcare professionals involved in orthopedic trauma care. Hosted at the ADN CoE Training, Research Center & Core Lab, this two-day program focuses on the fundamental principles of fracture reduction and fixation, emphasizing anatomical alignment, biomechanical stability, and clinical outcomes.
The course covers core topics including fracture classification, principles of fracture healing, indications for conservative versus surgical management, reduction techniques, fixation methods, implant selection, intraoperative safety, complication prevention, and postoperative management. Emphasis is placed on restoring anatomical alignment, ensuring mechanical stability, and optimizing functional recovery.
Through expert-led lectures and structured case-based discussions, participants review real-world orthopedic trauma cases, enhancing their understanding of reduction strategies, fixation planning, and decision-making in fracture management. Training is delivered by experienced orthopedic surgeons and trauma specialists, reinforcing standardized approaches, surgical accuracy, and quality-driven practice.
In addition to core sessions, the program includes discussions on treatment algorithms, intraoperative judgment, complication management, and integration of fracture fixation principles into emergency and elective orthopedic practice. Case-based sessions address challenges commonly encountered in fracture reduction and fixation.
By the end of the program, participants will have enhanced their ability to evaluate fractures, plan appropriate fixation strategies, and apply reduction principles effectively in clinical orthopedic practice.
