Mitral & Tricuspid Valve Interventions Training
Comprehensive, simulation-based training program focused on mastering transcatheter mitral and tricuspid interventions through imaging-guided planning, procedural simulation, and real-case integration.

Training Overview
Mitral and Tricuspid Interventions Training is a comprehensive and practice-oriented educational program designed for interventional cardiologists and imaging specialists involved in transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve interventions. This two-day program provides an in-depth understanding of the complete procedural workflow—from pre-procedural imaging and patient selection to device deployment, troubleshooting, and post-procedure management.
The course begins with detailed sessions on valvular anatomy, imaging modalities (CT, TEE, 3D Echo), and lesion characterization. Participants learn to interpret pre-procedural imaging for procedural planning, annular sizing, and anatomical suitability for various devices, including TEER (Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair), transcatheter valve replacement, and annuloplasty systems.
Through simulation-based learning, participants practice procedural techniques on advanced synthetic models that replicate real cath lab environments. Hands-on workshops include device positioning, grasping maneuvers, leaflet capture, and deployment strategies under expert supervision using 3D imaging and fluoroscopic simulation systems.
Case-based discussions and live or recorded procedural demonstrations allow participants to analyze real-world cases, complex anatomies, and management of complications such as residual regurgitation or single-leaflet detachment. Dedicated sessions cover post-procedural evaluation, hemodynamic optimization, and patient follow-up protocols for both mitral and tricuspid interventions.
Interactive faculty panels provide opportunities for open discussions on decision-making, patient selection, and procedural innovation in structural heart disease. By the end of the program, attendees will have developed both technical proficiency and clinical confidence to safely perform and support advanced transcatheter mitral and tricuspid interventions.
