Hands-on Coronary Physiology: FFR, iFR, QFR
A two-day, simulation-based program at ADN CoE dedicated to mastering FFR, iFR, and QFR for physiology-guided coronary interventions.

Training Overview
Hands-on Coronary Physiology: FFR, iFR, QFR Training is an intensive and practice-focused educational program designed for interventional cardiologists and cath lab professionals aiming to master invasive and non-invasive coronary physiology assessment techniques. This three-day program, held at ADN CoE Training, Research Center & Core Lab, provides a comprehensive understanding of the physiological principles, technical execution, and clinical applications of Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio (iFR), and Quantitative Flow Ratio (QFR) in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease.
The course begins with an in-depth review of coronary physiology fundamentals, lesion assessment, and interpretation of pressure and flow-derived indices. Participants will explore the evidence base and guidelines supporting physiology-guided revascularization, alongside practical insights into integrating these tools into daily cath lab practice for optimal decision-making.
Through simulation-based workshops, participants will gain hands-on experience with FFR and iFR wire handling, calibration, and measurement acquisition, as well as QFR analysis using angiographic datasets. Advanced modules include physiology-based PCI planning, handling technical pitfalls, and performing post-PCI physiological assessment to ensure optimal stent results.
The program includes live and recorded case discussions, enabling participants to interpret real-world examples of complex coronary lesions, diffuse disease, microvascular dysfunction, and discordant physiology results. Under expert supervision, participants will perform simulated physiology measurements in lifelike cath lab environments equipped with state-of-the-art systems.
Interactive panels and roundtable discussions with faculty will focus on latest innovations, including non-hyperemic pressure ratios, co-registration technologies, and AI-based QFR tools. By the end of the training, participants will have achieved both technical proficiency and clinical confidence to apply coronary physiology in guiding precise, evidence-based interventions.
