Neuroimaging
Functional Connectivity & Neuromodulation Mapping
A two-day, simulation-based neuroimaging program at ADN CoE focused on mastering advanced MRI and EEG techniques for brain network mapping, functional connectivity analysis, and neuromodulation assessment.

Training Overview
Functional Connectivity & Neuromodulation Mapping Training is an intensive, simulation-based educational program designed for neuroscientists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, and neuroengineers specializing in brain network analysis and modulation. This two-day course provides an in-depth understanding of functional MRI (fMRI), resting-state connectivity, and neuromodulation mapping techniques such as TMS, tDCS, and DBS integration.
The program begins with a detailed exploration of brain network organization, neurophysiological connectivity principles, and neuroimaging methods for mapping intrinsic and task-based functional connectivity. Participants engage in hands-on simulation sessions using advanced neuroimaging software to analyze resting-state networks, identify functional hubs, and assess network disruptions in neurological and psychiatric conditions.
Through interactive case-based simulations, attendees learn how to process, visualize, and interpret fMRI and EEG data to assess connectivity alterations induced by neuromodulation therapies. Dedicated workshops focus on connectivity modeling, brain stimulation mapping, and network plasticity assessment using AI-assisted analysis tools.
Participants will work with anonymized neuroimaging datasets to design and simulate neuromodulation paradigms, co-register stimulation targets with functional maps, and evaluate therapeutic effects on network dynamics. Expert faculty provide clinical and research perspectives on integrating connectivity mapping into personalized neuromodulation strategies and clinical decision-making.
By the end of the training, attendees will have gained the technical, analytical, and clinical skills to perform advanced connectivity-based assessments and neuromodulation planning that support precision neuroscience and translational neuroimaging applications.
