Hands-on Simulation Training

Develop practical skills using high-fidelity echocardiography simulators. Participants will rotate through supervised training stations, focusing on:

• Device positioning simulation (e.g., for TAVR, MitraClip,Pascal,Myclip)

Simulation-Based Scenario Training

Work through realistic clinical scenarios using simulation, including:

• Unexpected anatomy recognition

• Hemodynamic instability during procedures

• Step-by-step guided decision-making Each case is followed by group debriefs with faculty.

Image-Guided Procedural Planning Modules

Learn how to create standardized pre-procedural echo assessments, covering anatomy mapping, measurement protocols, and device selection guidance. Emphasis will be placed on reproducibility and communication within the heart team.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration Sessions

Simulated structural heart team discussions integrating echo findings into procedural decision-making. These sessions foster collaboration and multidisciplinary learning alongside cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and anesthesiologists.

Troubleshooting Workshops

Participate in interactive sessions that challenge participants to identify and correct poor-quality images, resolve artifacts, and adapt acquisition techniques in difficult anatomical settings.

Attire

Business casual attire is recommended for all participants. For hands-on cath lab observation sessions, surgical attire including scrubs, gowns, and caps will be provided by the training team. Please note: Our facility is a non-smoking, green-certified building. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the premises and in all outdoor areas adjacent to the building.

Health & Safety Guidelines

• Our training venue complies with green building standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

• Upon arrival, all participants will be briefed on fire safety, emergency evacuation procedures, and earthquake preparedness protocols. Please pay close attention to these instructions for your safety.

Payment and Refund Policy

Payment Terms

• All course registrations will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

• Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card.

• Please note that credit card payments are subject to a processing fee of 4.29%, which will be added to the total payment amount.

• Any bank transfer fees or charges, especially for international payments, are the responsibility of the participant.

Refund Policy

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to trainings@adncoe.com.

• Refunds will be processed based on the following schedule:

  • More than 30 days before the course start date: Full refund minus a processing fee of 5%.

  • Between 15 and 30 days before the course start date: 50% refund.

  • Less than 15 days before the course start date: No refund will be issued.

• No refunds will be given for no-shows or partial attendance.

Transfer of Registration

• Participants may transfer their registration to another individual from the same institution with prior written approval from ADN CoE, provided the request is made at least 10 days before the course start date.

Course Postponement or Cancellation

• ADN CoE reserves the right to postpone or cancel the course due to unforeseen circumstances.

• In case of cancellation by ADN CoE, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future course date.
