Oncologic Interventions
Comprehensive Tumor Ablation & Embolization Simulation Masterclass
A two-day advanced simulation-based masterclass focused on image-guided tumor ablation and embolization techniques using high-fidelity procedural models.

Training Overview
Comprehensive Tumor Ablation & Embolization Simulation Masterclass is an intensive, simulation-driven training program designed for interventional radiologists, oncologists, vascular specialists, and residents aiming to enhance their proficiency in image-guided tumor ablation and embolization procedures. This two-day course integrates structured theoretical instruction with immersive hands-on simulation, emphasizing procedural accuracy, safe device handling, and real-world clinical decision-making.
The program begins with in-depth sessions covering ablation physics, embolic material selection, imaging guidance principles, vascular anatomy, patient selection, and pre-procedural planning. Participants explore core principles including ablative energy mechanics, embolization strategies, procedural indications, complication pathways, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Hands-on simulation modules allow participants to perform full procedural workflows using high-fidelity ablation and vascular intervention models. Under expert supervision, attendees practice cryoablation, RFA, MWA probe placement, microcatheter navigation, embolic delivery, target vessel selection, and intra-procedural complication management with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and efficacy.
Through interactive video reviews, case-based discussions, and expert-led debriefings, participants analyze real tumor intervention scenarios and refine decision-making related to modality selection, ablation margins, embolic choice, and patient-specific treatment strategies. Structured performance feedback supports continuous improvement in technical skills, workflow efficiency, and clinical reasoning.
By the end of the masterclass, participants will have developed the technical expertise, procedural confidence, and advanced clinical judgment required to safely and effectively perform tumor ablation and embolization procedures in modern interventional oncology practice.
