Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Transplantation Simulation
A two-day, simulation-based program on bone marrow and stem cell transplantation workflows. Focuses on donor selection, transplant execution, and early complication management.

Training Overview
Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Transplantation Simulation is an intensive, simulation-enhanced training program designed for hematologists, oncologists, transplant physicians, fellows, nurses, and allied health professionals involved in bone marrow transplantation (BMT) and cellular therapy. This two-day course integrates structured theoretical modules with high-fidelity transplant simulations, emphasizing donor selection, conditioning regimens, stem cell handling, transplant workflow execution, and early/late complication management.
Participants begin with core modules covering transplant indications, HLA typing principles, donor eligibility, graft source selection, conditioning protocols, engraftment biology, GVHD mechanisms, infectious risk management, and post-transplant monitoring. The program also reviews stem cell mobilization, apheresis processes, cryopreservation, and graft quality assessment.
Using immersive simulation scenarios, attendees practice full transplant workflows including patient preparation, stem cell infusion procedures, central line considerations, acute reaction management, early complication triage, and multidisciplinary coordination during the peri-transplant period. Case-based sessions reinforce decision-making for conditioning selection, toxicity prevention, infection control, immunosuppression management, and GVHD recognition/treatment.
Video-supported clinical cases and tumor board–style discussions train participants to evaluate complex transplant situations—from donor selection dilemmas to immunologic complications, graft failure risks, and survivorship planning. Structured feedback sessions enhance confidence, communication skills, crisis management, and team-based transplant execution.
By the end of the training, participants will gain advanced skills in transplant pathway coordination, complication recognition, supportive care strategies, and evidence-based decision-making in bone marrow and stem cell transplantation.
