Gastroenterology
Advanced Polypectomy & ESD Simulation Training
A two-day, simulation-based gastroenterology program at ADN CoE focusing on advanced polypectomy and ESD techniques.

Training Overview
Advanced Polypectomy & ESD Simulation Training is a comprehensive, simulation-based educational program designed to enhance the technical expertise, clinical decision-making, and procedural safety of gastroenterologists performing advanced endoscopic resection techniques. Hosted at the ADN CoE Training, Research Center & Core Lab, this two-day program integrates structured theoretical education with hands-on simulation focused on complex polypectomy and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD).
The course covers lesion assessment, optical diagnosis, resection strategy selection, and step-by-step techniques for advanced polypectomy and ESD. Emphasis is placed on mucosal lifting, dissection planes, hemostasis techniques, and management of intra- and post-procedural complications.
Through interactive simulation workshops, participants perform advanced endoscopic resections in high-fidelity simulation labs replicating real endoscopy unit workflows. Training is delivered under the supervision of expert gastroenterologists and international faculty, reinforcing precision, efficiency, and procedural confidence.
In addition to hands-on training, the program includes expert-led discussions on case selection, complication prevention, post-resection surveillance, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Case-based sessions address challenging colorectal and upper GI lesions encountered in routine and advanced practice.
By the end of the program, participants will have strengthened their technical skills in advanced resection techniques and improved their ability to manage complex endoscopic cases safely.
