ADN CoE marked the beginning of 2025 with a landmark event: the first TAVI training session of the year, held on January 13-14 at Acıbadem Medipol University Hospital, Istanbul. This two-day training not only set the tone for a year of growth and innovation but also underscored ADN CoE’s commitment to advancing cardiology education through cutting-edge methodologies.

This inaugural session welcomed cardiology professionals eager to refine their skills and expand their knowledge of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation. Designed to address every facet of the procedure, the program combined in-depth theoretical overviews with practical, hands-on training. Attendees benefited from a structured curriculum that emphasized precision, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring they left with actionable insights to elevate patient care.

A highlight of the training was the first-ever sensor-guided TAVI procedure in Turkey, performed using the state of the art SavvyWire technology. This milestone reflects ADN CoE’s dedication to adopting the latest advancements in cardiology, enhancing precision and patient outcomes.

The training was led by renowned cardiology experts Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Okuyan and Assoc. Prof. Asım Enhoş, whose expertise and passion for teaching brought invaluable insights to the participants. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Acıbadem Medipol University Hospital staff for their exceptional support, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for everyone involved.

From interactive live cases to collaborative discussions, the participants actively immersed themselves in every aspect of the training. The hands-on approach, coupled with expert guidance, equipped them with the skills and confidence to excel in TAVI procedures, ultimately improving care for patients worldwide.
