A Structural Heart in Interventional Cardiology Fellowship is a specialized training program designed for doctors who wish to advance their knowledge and expertise in the field of interventional cardiology, with a specific focus on structural heart disease. During the fellowship, doctors will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced interventional cardiologists to develop their skills in the diagnosis and management of complex structural heart conditions.

Through a combination of clinical rotations, didactic lectures, and research opportunities, fellows will gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest advances in interventional cardiology, including the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for the management of structural heart disease, such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral valve repair and replacement, left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale closure.

During the fellowship, doctors will also have the opportunity to work with patients who require specialized care, such as those with valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, and those who require advanced imaging and hemodynamic support during interventions.
