Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship is a specialized program designed for doctors seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of clinical neurophysiology. With a focus on diagnosing and managing neurological disorders using neurophysiological techniques, this fellowship offers a comprehensive learning experience.

During the program, fellows will work closely with experienced neurophysiologists, gaining hands-on experience in conducting and interpreting a variety of neurophysiological tests. These include electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials. Fellows will also have the opportunity to learn about intraoperative monitoring (IOM) techniques, which are crucial for ensuring the safety of patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures.

Through a combination of clinical rotations, seminars, and research opportunities, fellows will develop a deep understanding of the principles and applications of clinical neurophysiology. They will learn how to perform and interpret neurophysiological tests, as well as how to integrate these findings into the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders such as epilepsy, neuropathy, myopathy, and movement disorders.

Fellows will also gain valuable experience in working with patients who require specialized care, such as those with epilepsy who may benefit from epilepsy monitoring units (EMUs) or those undergoing surgery for movement disorders. They will learn how to communicate effectively with patients and their families, as well as how to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.

Upon completion of the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, doctors will be well-prepared to pursue a career in clinical neurophysiology, with a focus on diagnosing and managing neurological disorders using neurophysiological techniques. They will have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with complex neurological conditions, and will be equipped to contribute to the advancement of the field through research and innovation.
