During the fellowship, physicians will work closely with experienced adolescent medicine specialists to develop expertise in managing a wide range of adolescent health issues. Through clinical rotations, didactic lectures, and research opportunities, fellows will gain a deep understanding of the unique medical, psychological, and social needs of adolescents.

Fellows will learn how to conduct thorough assessments, provide evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address the complex health issues faced by adolescents. They will also have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including homeless youth, and those with chronic illnesses.

Upon completion of the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship, physicians will be equipped to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to adolescents in a variety of settings, including clinics, schools, and community health centers. They will be prepared to advocate for the health and well-being of adolescents and to contribute to the advancement of the field of adolescent medicine through research and education.
