AIMS AND OBJECTIVES;

Introducing components of Da Vinci surgical robotic system, lectures and video presentations about upper urinary tract robotic urological procedures, practicing with Da Vinci robotic simulators and performing robotic upper urinary tract surgery procedures on human fresh frozen cadavers.

• Lectures on robotic instruments

• Video presentations of the robotic upper urinary tract procedures

• Training on Da Vinci robotic simulators

• Hands-on training on human fresh frozen cadavers

• Performing abdominal port placement

• Performing robotic partial nephrectomy

• Performing robotic nephrectomy & nephroureterectomy

• Performing pyeloplasty

• Performing robotic adrenalectomy

• Major vessel injury repair

08:30 – 09:30 Lectures & video presentations: Introducing Da Vinci surgical robotic system (principles, components, instruments, docking & undocking, emergency undocking), Patient preparation, Anatomy of pigs.

09:30 – 10:00 Video presentations of upper urinary tract robotic urological procedures (step by step surgical techniques with tips & tricks)

10:00 – 13:00 Group 1: Hands-on training with Da Vinci robotic simulators

Group 2: Performing upper urinary tract robotic urological procedures on human fresh frozen cadavers

13:00 – 13:30 Lunch Break

13:30 – 16:30 Group 1: Performing upper urinary tract robotic urological procedures on human fresh frozen cadavers
