Session Title: IVUS Training

Nature of the event: IVUS Educational and Procedural Training that includes Lectures, Videos, Hands-on Sessions, and 5 Live Case Observation Sessions.

IVUS Training is designed for interventional cardiologists who want to learn to manage IVUS in complex coronary procedures. The training will be onsite, and it takes 2 days. It will be educational and procedural training. 

Duration of the event: It will be a 2-day training. Training will be organized from 09:00 to 17:00.

The most critical issue in sustainable medical education is the limited ability to practice on simulation devices and the limited opportunities for one-on-one training. The educational opportunities that can be reached can be made with the opportunities of medical device companies.

Learning Objectives

1-      Basic Interpretation of Intravascular Ultrasound Imaging

2-      How to use IVUS in the evaluation of the different coronary lesions subset.

3-      How to use IVUS to optimize PCI procedures outcome.

4-      Life and recorded case examples

The training is approved by Ethical Medtech and the participating physicians will be able to earn CME points from the training.
