Born in Isparta in 1967, Prof. Dr. Mesut Gürdal graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. he completed his Urology residency at Decune Training and Research Hospitals in Ankara and Haydarpaşa between 1990 and 1995. he performed his patriotic duty in Merzifon between Dec. 1995 and dec. 1997.

He received the title of Associate Professor in 2004 and Professor in 2010.

Throughout his professional life, he has worked in both Ministry of Health Education and Research Hospitals and University Hospitals. Starting from the position of Chief Assistant, he served as Deputy Chief of Clinic, Chief of Clinic, Head of Department, Head of Surgical Sciences Department, Chief Physician, Deputy Dean, Dean, Vice Rector.

Prof. Dr. Mesut Gürdal retired from the Department of Urology, Gülhane Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences in August 2021.

He is currently serving at Lotium Urology (Urology).

He has focused his studies on Functional Urology; Female Urology, Male and Female Urinary Incontinence, Urethral Stricture and Robotic Surgery.

Dr. Gürdal, who was a founding member of the Continence Association in 2003, currently serves as vice president of the association.

He has over 100 scientific articles published Nationally and Internationally in the field of urology.
