Surgery of the Hand Fellowship is an intensive program designed for surgeons seeking to enhance their expertise in the specialized field of hand surgery. This program focuses on the comprehensive treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions, including congenital, traumatic, degenerative, and inflammatory disorders.

Fellows in this program will work closely with experienced hand surgeons, gaining hands-on experience in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of complex hand and upper extremity conditions. Through a combination of clinical rotations, didactic lectures, and research opportunities, fellows will develop a deep understanding of the anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology of the hand and upper extremity.

During the fellowship, fellows will learn advanced surgical techniques, including microsurgery, nerve reconstruction, tendon repair, and joint replacement. They will also have the opportunity to work with patients who require specialized care, such as those with brachial plexus injuries, peripheral nerve disorders, and complex hand trauma.

Fellows will develop proficiency in the evaluation of hand and upper extremity conditions, including the use of diagnostic imaging and other diagnostic tools. They will also learn how to develop individualized treatment plans that consider each patient's unique needs and goals.
