Sports Medicine Fellowship is an advanced program designed for physicians seeking to enhance their expertise in the field of sports medicine, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries and conditions. During the fellowship, fellows will work closely with experienced sports medicine physicians and orthopedic surgeons to expand their knowledge and skills in the care of athletes and active individuals.
Through a combination of clinical rotations, didactic lectures, and research opportunities, fellows will develop a comprehensive understanding of sports medicine principles and practices. They will learn the latest advances in the diagnosis and management of sports injuries, including musculoskeletal injuries, concussions, and overuse injuries. Fellows will also gain experience in non-operative and operative treatments, rehabilitation techniques, and performance enhancement strategies for athletes of all levels.
