Pediatric Orthopedics Fellowship is a specialized program designed for doctors seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in pediatric orthopedic care. With a focus on the unique musculoskeletal needs of children, this fellowship offers an immersive experience working alongside seasoned pediatric orthopedic surgeons.

Fellows will engage in a variety of clinical rotations, didactic lectures, and research activities to deepen their understanding of pediatric orthopedics. They will gain expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions specific to children, including congenital deformities, developmental disorders, and traumatic injuries.

Throughout the fellowship, doctors will learn advanced surgical techniques tailored to pediatric patients, including minimally invasive procedures, limb-sparing surgeries, and corrective surgeries for spinal deformities. They will also develop skills in managing complex cases, conducting thorough evaluations, and devising individualized treatment plans that consider a child's growth, development, and unique medical needs.

In addition to clinical skills, fellows will learn how to effectively communicate with young patients and their families, providing compassionate care that prioritizes the child's well-being. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and may have opportunities to participate in specialized clinics for conditions such as pediatric sports injuries or neuromuscular disorders.

Upon completion of the Pediatric Orthopedics Fellowship, doctors will be equipped to pursue a career as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, with specialized expertise in the unique challenges of pediatric musculoskeletal care. They will be prepared to make informed, compassionate decisions in managing pediatric orthopedic conditions and may choose to further specialize in areas such as pediatric sports medicine, spine surgery, or limb reconstruction
